t.r.schmidt  - 15.01.2011 - 18:59
@dark: changed super metroid to metroid series, good idea
t.r.schmidt  - 15.01.2011 - 18:41
I could need some help at collecting cheats, see here: http://www.turricanforever.de/setaforum?id=574
Robert  - 13.01.2011 - 19:31
Probably an old graphics chip, which does not support textures larger than 2048x2048. In that case use3d=0 might be faster anyway.
Bronko  - 13.01.2011 - 19:07
Smaller Tiles are a feature auf the "new" T2002F Editor only. As it always will be beta, it's propably just never gonna work...
RuvF  - 13.01.2011 - 18:28
Maybe you have to download a performance patch at pekaro.de (dd: http://pekaro.de/content/download/T2002_101.zip )
Christian  - 13.01.2011 - 18:09
You cant change the tilesetsize smaller if you have so many animations in it. But if you do that, all invisible sprites and tiles getting visible.
Christian  - 13.01.2011 - 18:07
That is correct. But I never knew what´s the problem with T2002. The mistake comes not often, but I had this one in FF 6 years ago, too.
RuvF  - 13.01.2011 - 17:43
Thats not correct. It works fine on every pc expecting from yours. I dunno whats up with your pc... Maybe the community knows an answer...
Christian  - 13.01.2011 - 15:02
The only way to solve the problem for us is to set the tileset to a max size of 640x1984.
Christian  - 13.01.2011 - 15:00
The problem that you cant see enemies and others has something to do with the level sizes. Pekaro programmed this, so I dont know how you can fix this.
RuvF  - 13.01.2011 - 13:28
Well fine Got an appcrash in the jetpack level or just die?
Chief  - 12.01.2011 - 23:30
Second time no crash, made it past the jetpack level. Really nice to play classic levels with the Turrican 2 type weapons.
Chief  - 12.01.2011 - 22:26
Well, played the first level, really cool, seeing this old Turrican 1 graphics. But the game now crashed at the first boss...
Chief  - 12.01.2011 - 22:08
@RuvF: In fact I did redownload it, to rule out the possibility of a corrupt download. Didn't work either. But I solved it, setting use3d=0 in the ini file worked! Strange, since the use3d=1 option works in other levelpacks, like MR 2.1
RuvF  - 12.01.2011 - 22:02
I saw that you didn't try to redownload T-All. Maybe you should try this...
RuvF  - 12.01.2011 - 21:48
It looks like that the Worldset won't be loaded sucessfully. Open the T-ALL_0 level with the leveleditor. Can you see there the level?

@RuvF: I have the screenshot on my pc, hard to link to that...
Bronko  - 12.01.2011 - 18:28
I don't think, Gunstar Heroes feels very Turricanish.
Daniel  - 12.01.2011 - 17:39
2d action in 3d design......mmmmmmmmmh
Daniel  - 12.01.2011 - 17:38
i think treasure games are the best of all games(gunstar heroes, ikaruga, radiant silvergun, gradius 5 etc.
Daniel  - 12.01.2011 - 17:36
gunstar heroes is cool!!
RuvF  - 12.01.2011 - 12:08
@Chief: Just post the link here
Chief  - 12.01.2011 - 08:05
@RuvF: Where do I mail the screenshot to?
dark  - 12.01.2011 - 06:32
second what about Gunstar heroes? very liniar, but with great bosses, fast action, and awsome weapons much like Turrican.
dark  - 12.01.2011 - 06:31
Just a couple of points. first, you only list Super metroid, ---- now there are more 2D metroid games like fusion and zero mission shouldn't it go in as a series the way you've put in Contra and mega man?
dark  - 12.01.2011 - 06:28
Great to see the Turrican Seta get a facelift and to see more games in the Seta.
dark  - 12.01.2011 - 06:28
Great to see the Turrican Seta get a facelift and to see more games in the Seta.
RuvF  - 11.01.2011 - 23:35
Strange... Please send a screenshoot.
Chief  - 11.01.2011 - 23:19
Did reinstall of T2002, with E update. Even tried simply copying the T-all files into a working T2002 install. Same result
Chief  - 11.01.2011 - 23:18
I have problems with T-All. Unpacked it into the Bonus folder, I do get the altered title screen and music, but no graphics ingame, except a starry background. Other levelpacks like Morgul Returns work fine
RuvF  - 10.01.2011 - 16:15
Aber nicht bei jedem Levelpack? Bekomme noch bei X Levelpacks nen appcrash.
Bronko  - 10.01.2011 - 15:57
Slayer  - 10.01.2011 - 14:15
Haha... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDkNNt9qJLs&feature=rec-exp_fresh+div-1f-10-HM
Chief  - 09.01.2011 - 23:35
Secret bonus, is that the skies going to scrolling when you click a certain sprite?
Chief  - 09.01.2011 - 23:01
I got a Logitech F310 gamepad, and after getting a little used to it, I''m almost as good as with the keys. Btw, really like the latest version of Morgul Returns. Great music, and the levels are looking pretty and challenging.
Christian  - 09.01.2011 - 21:25
Vermutlich liegt das wieder am Spriteproblem. Am besten, du installierst T2002 komplett neu.
Turrican   - 09.01.2011 - 21:10
Bronko  - 08.01.2011 - 19:09
Was du verpasst Aky?
Turrican  - 08.01.2011 - 18:36
THQ Turrican 4 jetzt Bitteeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Habt Ihr Paralax-Radio gehört? Mit Chris Hülsbeck, Ramiro Vaca. Willi Bäcker und Andreas Escher...viele Geschichten über Katakis, Turrican, Rainbow Arts, Manfred Trenz...lang aber ganz interessant. Bei iTunes noch im Podcast Radio Para
Aky  - 08.01.2011 - 17:40
3D weg - Slowdown weg, tja...braucht wohl einen Retro-Rechner...was verpasse ich jetzt in T-All ohne 3d?
t.r.schmidt  - 08.01.2011 - 16:36
It is already there, but it makes the quality even worse...
Bronko  - 08.01.2011 - 14:16
Shall I put it on YouTube?
Christian  - 08.01.2011 - 14:01
t.r.schmidt  - 08.01.2011 - 10:05
Just Holidays, bad weather and SETA´s Birthday
Bronko  - 08.01.2011 - 00:06
Hey t.r., I think it's finally time to tell us, what the heck happened to you!
RuvF  - 07.01.2011 - 22:45
Nice feature
t.r.schmidt  - 07.01.2011 - 21:07
Turrican Mp3-Player beta online (under left menu!)
RuvF  - 07.01.2011 - 08:22
A new T-ALL Version have been added. Pls redownload if you have any big problems with it. I removed a exit appcrash in the screwnut hall level, and added a skip function in the story level.
Bronko  - 06.01.2011 - 21:40
Huch, schwammig?
Bronko  - 06.01.2011 - 15:07
I meant "The ProPad 4 may look like the same thing", sorry.... Hey t.r. as you are back in business here, how about the optional account system?
Bronko  - 06.01.2011 - 15:06
"ProPad 6" is imortant, for six buttons. It'S ideal for SNES emulation, too, as it is like a SNES pad. The ProPad may look like the same thing, BUT the shoulder buttons are just Button 3 and 4 again. Crazy thing.
Bronko  - 06.01.2011 - 15:04
If you like using spacebar and alt for power lines and smart bombs, use a Competition Pro. I like my gamepad, which uses an USB<->gameport adapter. This PC Propad 6 is available for 1€ at ebay any time. It's very precise and robust.
Marc  - 06.01.2011 - 14:22
SPEED-LINK Competition Pro USB Joystick - Nice Retro-Feel
t.r.schmidt  - 06.01.2011 - 10:43
I like the Playstation 2-Gamepads, connected with an USB-Adapter
Chief  - 06.01.2011 - 10:15
My old stick is a little heavy for this game, it's more suited for flightsims. So a new one is better. Any suggestions for one that is durable and has a good feel for a jump n shoot game like T2002?
Bronko  - 06.01.2011 - 02:28
USB to gameport adapter, if you like your old stick. Use an active one.
RuvF  - 05.01.2011 - 21:49
Competition Pro USB Joystick?
Chief  - 05.01.2011 - 19:03
But on the other PC I do get the Pekaro proudly presents and levelpacks work well. Also more smooth scrolling, faster PC. I'll stick to playing on this pc. One problem, it has no gameport for my joystick. What is a good T2002 USB joystick?
Chief  - 05.01.2011 - 19:01
@Robert: I tried re-installing T2002 completely, still the same. Also noticed that on my working T2002 I never saw the "Pekaro proudly presents" text, just went straight to the T2002 logo after the Pekaro logo
Robert  - 05.01.2011 - 14:02
@Chief: Please try to copy the T2002 folder from the "different computer" to your pc and report again.
Robert  - 05.01.2011 - 14:01
Chief  - 04.01.2011 - 23:05
I tried several levelpack. But it seems like it is my pc that can't handle the new 2002e.exe. Tried on a different computer and all works fine there...
RuvF  - 04.01.2011 - 21:48
RuvF  - 04.01.2011 - 21:44
Which levelpack have you started and which tstarter version are you using?
Chief  - 04.01.2011 - 21:44
Standard 2002 runs fine on the same system, but not the 2002e.exe
Chief  - 04.01.2011 - 21:28
Bonus folder appears, I copy extracted levelpack into a folder in the bonus folder, select it, and then, only music changes, and introscreen, but not titlescreen and game
Chief  - 04.01.2011 - 21:27
Installed mp3 version of T2002, then T2002e update and then Tstarter
Chief  - 04.01.2011 - 21:25
I try to play those fanmade levels with tstarter, but the new graphics don't appear for any level just the music..
Christian  - 04.01.2011 - 21:13
War auch ein Spaßprojekt. So eine Mario trifft Turrilevel fehlt noch.
Bronko  - 04.01.2011 - 18:34
Türme leer, spaß gehabt!
RuvF  - 04.01.2011 - 12:22
Viel Spaß beim Türme leerballern
t.r.schmidt  - 02.01.2011 - 20:21
Thanks, inserted in Clones section
Chief  - 02.01.2011 - 19:52
One nice touch, you can switch between Amiga sprite and PC sprite ingame
Chief  - 02.01.2011 - 19:51
Here the website: http://synthesis.netfast.org/turricands/
t.r.schmidt  - 02.01.2011 - 18:07
Any screenshots/videos/homepage for Turrican DS? Im still busy completing the Clones-Database
Chief  - 02.01.2011 - 17:26
Then you better give DS Turrican top priority right away or...
TheFinalFighter  - 02.01.2011 - 14:24
Not very active though... as I have several other projects in parallel.
