That's the same one I downloaded, and I use the tstarter.bat, since I didn't feel like installing that .net stuff. Under XP T-starter.bat runs fine, but under Win98 it reports missing DLLs
Bronko  - 12.03.2010 - 20:21
Use this version, and use the T Starter.bat, nut the *.exe : http://static.turricanforever.de/download/Tools/T%20Starter%202.7%20(plus%20Mono).zip

T2002 clean install runs slow on my 733 Mhz PC when in XP. When I boot Win98 T2002 runs silky smooth. But with Win98 I get missing DLL errors when I use T-starter
Bronko  - 12.03.2010 - 20:05
T-Starter runs slow? But it just starts T2002E.exe ?! Did you try the use3d = 0 use3d = 1 trick?
Chief  - 12.03.2010 - 19:59
I would love to use T-starter, but I keep getting errors when I try it under Win98. And under WinXP T2002 runs too slow
Bronko  - 12.03.2010 - 18:03
You really should use T-Starter! http://bronko.turricanforever.de/Tstartere.htm

The "first level" of Underearth Part 2 is the story, and the real first level should look like this: http://bronko.turricanforever.de/Bilder/Funearth/12.png
Chief  - 12.03.2010 - 15:57
Btw, is it correct that the first level of Underearth part 2 is very similar to the first level of T2002? I was expecting all levels to be different.
Chief  - 12.03.2010 - 15:56
I did only try first level, yeah. Now that you mention it, I remember Dex telling me he did this on purpose, to make it appear like the suit was getting activated instead of beamed in. Problem solved.
TheFinalFighter  - 12.03.2010 - 14:36
T4Funeral, you mean? You only tried the first level, didn't you? The suit is already there before the "zoom"... but not the character! Have a close look, the eyes are not lightened before the zoom.
Chief  - 12.03.2010 - 14:29
@Bronko: In T2002 the pixels zoom together like they should. But not in Dex Turrican for instance. The pixels do zoom together, but before they do, you already see the sprite, and you shouldn't see it until after they zoomed together...

Bronko  - 12.03.2010 - 12:44
@Chief: I don't know, hat you're doing. To use the T2002 original sprite, you have to do nothing at all. And then, the pixels zoom together, and then the Turri appears. Maybe your T2002 is somehow screwed. Make a new installation!

@ Daniel: Es ist nicht klug das Spiel für sich schon so zu gestalten, das man zu kämpfen hat. In Turrican hatte ich z.B. am Ende ca 40 Leben. 15 sind etwas wenig.
Chief  - 12.03.2010 - 08:35
I have been trying to use the original T2002 Turrican sprite in other levelpacks, since I like this sprite best. I can get the classic sprite working, but before Turrican gets beamed in, it's sprite is already visible. How can I fix this?
Daniel  - 11.03.2010 - 18:06
kleiner tip...nehmt den bounce schuss...
Daniel  - 11.03.2010 - 18:04
turrican musste ich auch "lernen"!
Bronko  - 11.03.2010 - 17:02
Ja, du kennst das ja auch 100% auswendig.
Daniel  - 11.03.2010 - 16:03
bei den tests hatte ich locker über 15 leben, bin aber fast nur durchgerannt. das heisst ich habe bei weitem nicht alles mitgenommen!
